Lifestyle Lift

Designed as an alternative to conventional facelifts, Doctor David M. Kent developed the Lifestyle Lift in 2001. The Lifestyle Lift has been performed on thousands of people across the country and utilizes local, rather than general, anesthesia. This means the patient is awake throughout the procedure. Lifestyle Lift also claims reduced recovery times for patients, as well as a lower price point. The Lifestyle Lift is performed by trained professionals working in special Lifestyle Lift centers rather than hospitals. These centers create a more intimate, discreet and relaxed setting for the lift.

The Lifestyle Lift focuses on the lower face and jaw line and begins with an incision made along the temple hairline and continuing down around the front of the patient’s ear. The typical incision makes an S shape, and in contrast with a traditional facelift, the Lifestyle lift does not extend behind the ears. Then two strong, permanent, circular sutures gather up and tighten your stretched muscles. The plastic surgeon will then trim extra skin. In addition, to enhance the neck area, the neck skin is pulled up and light liposuction is performed when necessary.

The cosmetic procedure’s recovery process is considered to be more rapid compared to a traditional facelift, with 80-90% of normal activity able to resume within 4 to 7 days. Also, the procedure is priced significantly less than most traditional facelifts. Traditional facelifts may cost up to $15000, where the average Lifestyle lift is reported to be less than $5000.
